Ross is a 38 year old landscape photography from the UK, and first introduced to photography at the age of 10. A large amount of his photos are taken in the South West of England. Many of his photos have appeared in massive national magazines such as Wild Planet Magazine and Digital SLR Photography. His overall hopes are that his images will help to highlight the beauty and natural history and the environment on which we depend on.
This is my favorite image that Ross has taken. The colours along with the beautiful landscape look great. It looks like it might be taken with a very long shutter speed like some of his other images since the water is smooth and so are the clouds. In addition this also means that a tripod was used. The rule of thirds and power points looks like they played a role in this photograph. The photographer may have also used Photoshop to colour correct the image.

This is my 2nd favorite image that Ross has taken. He has used the long exposure technique to make the water look smooth. The model must of had to stand still for a long period of time. The photographer has used compositional triangles are on the rocks/cliffs & the light reflecting on the water. The contrast of the silhouette model, and the pastel colours are effective.

Anglesey Trip
We went to "Anglesey". Below are all the pictures that were taken on those 3 days. I also talk about my best and worst pictures.
My "Worst" Picture. When we were in "Anglesey" I only tried to take pictures of things that are interesting. When I took this picture, I am not sure what I was thinking, it just seems boring. The depth of field turned out quite nice but the leaves and twigs that I focused are were just boring and bland. Also it doesn't look like its focused correctly.

Editing Process
In Photoshop, I replaced the sky by using the selection tool, I also added a purplish hue to the image. Then I found a purple sky image online and put it behind the rocks, and added an adjustment layer to help blend it all in. I then created overlay layers and used black and white brushes to lighten and darken certain parts of the image.
It's hard to achieve the bright and vibrant colours like Ross has, but overall they look like they have a similar style.
